TROY Receives WV Governor’s Commendation Awards for Market Entry into 4 New Countries

In 2019, businesses from 17 West Virginia counties were responsible for exporting their products to more than 60 countries worldwide. TROY is proud to be among the companies who have done business across the globe and contributed to the economic growth of the state.

Last year, TROY entered 4 international markets for the first time: Guyana, Malta, Swaziland, and Zambia. These countries join the 131 other countries where our secure print solutions are used.

Because of the ongoing COVID pandemic, a virtual ceremony was held honoring 30 WV businesses. State officials, including Governor Jim Justice and Senator Joe Manchin, offered congratulatory remarks to all those being recognized.

“It is a great privilege for TROY Group, Inc to be recognized as a leading exporter in the region for the 8th consecutive year at West Virginia Governor’s Commendation Awards for First International Market Entry 2020. It reflects a long-standing commitment of our team on expanding and exploring new international markets for our security printing solutions," said Ala Simms, International Sales Operations. “Present success would not be possible without our long-established relationship and invaluable assistance from US Commercial Service, West Virginia Development Office, and West Virginia Export Council, to which institutions we attribute our outstanding accomplishments.”
